While Wednesday Addams is one of culture’s most visible goths, she also has a penchant for all things freaky. So we can only imagine that she would appreciate Ortega’s hybrid shoe choice.
The actor arrived for an appearance on Late Night With Seth Meyers dressed in a satin Elena Velez dress, outfitted with deconstructed corsetry, haphazard straps, and a raw, thigh-high slit. But we were especially drawn to her footwear, a Frankenshoe that would surely make Wednesday smile (or, more realistically, smirk). Styled by Enrique Melendez, Ortega wore a pair of Black Suede Studio heels. One part mesh flat, one part strappy stiletto, her shoe choice was an unexpected, slightly subversive addition to the dilapidated look.
